Hi,

I have been in us for a while and have only worked in US. I am thinking about moving back to india, but i'm not sure what work life there is like. Here, I used to be at places where i had to be in office and spend long hours. but last couple jobs, i have managed stressfull but flexible job, which i am used to. I have to work on tough assigments, travel for client meetings, etc. but i don't always have to be in office. I have all the access at home. so at times I will stay home and work late. This helps me balance family and work very well. Could this be availabe in india? Please help. It will be a tough time for me to move back, so i just want to be prepared career-wise as well. I suspect it would be rare, but as long as the possibility is there I am willing to work and look hard for such a job.

thank you so much for the info. I am clueless on this subject, so your feedback is very helpful. could you clarify what you meant by -- \" crosscheck the facility from HR\" ? Here usually, when I interview at that time or soon after, my boss would tell me about how flexible he is with my hours and such. So do I have to find that information different over there? I am sorry if I am asking stupid question, but I just don't know the system there.

I am software profeesional and working in bangalore. My job has flexible timing. Here not all the company has such kind of facility but some company has like working from home etc. So better at the time of searching job crosscheck the facility from HR.
