Sunshine replied. My case is quite the opposite. I am losing my appetite and it worries me. I feel nauseous and the smell of certain foods puts me off completely. I am just about managing to have my meals.
As I am working, I dont find time to make anything so I snack on any of these: fruits, dry biscuits, rusk, soaked almonds, peanuts, dry figs, flavoured yogurt etc.
When I surfed the net, I found that the following foods should be included in our diet between 9-12 weeks of pregnancy:
Aim to include these magnesium-rich foods in your diet.
• Dried fruits especially figs, apricots and raisins, peanuts, walnut, almonds
• Green leafy vegetables such as spinach, radish leaves, bathua, sarson, methi, lettuce
• Peas and sweet corn are also good sources
• Vegetables such as bottle gourd (lauki), bitter gourd (karela)
• Non-refined cereals like whole-wheat and brown rice
• Pulses like green gram, yellow lentil, kidney beans, and soya beans
• Dairy products like milk, cheese, curd, etc.
• Non-vegetarian food products like fish and meat
Vitamin A helps to keep your skin and the linings of your internal organs healthy. Eat plenty of reduced-fat dairy products, such as milk, yogurt, paneer and cheese, for their retinol.
Vitamin A is found in:
• red and dark green vegetables like peppers, paalak, sarson, methi, radish leaves etc,
• yellow, red and fleshy fruits like oranges, sweet lime, apricots
• vegetables like peppers, carrots, sweet potatoes
Hope this information helps.

Hi Bhav,
I must thank you. One way even I got to know various foods I can snack on :)
Hats off to you for managing both work and home. Luckily I stay with my in-laws so my MIL takes care of the kitchen.
Look forward to the increased appetite. Its getting very difficult for me to eat these days. Literally force myself saying its good for the baby. I was suffering from nausea but from Friday I have started vomiting as well :(
Take care. Keep in touch.

According to my experience with Relicord, I will never recommend any one to go with Relicord. It' s being 1.5 years now, I am paying the EMIs, but I had enough trouble with them.
1.After one year they send a legal notice to me saying that I have not given the intitial advance of 20,000 R.s

Lifecell is the best
yes Life cell is the best, when ourbabygirl was due in Feb 2011 we shortlisted Lifecell after meeting Cyrobanks, Relicord, Babycord etc. Cyrobanks are thugs they promise you the moon and also there is no indian hand in this company so we can' t rely on them at all. Relicord is good but the offers have so much marketing gimmicks. Other players lacks either the technical inf... - CK [View Message]

Avoid Beena Jaysingh. We' ve got seriously burnt up by Dr. Beena Jaysingh of Apollo Bellandur. Dr Beena is highly unprofessional and always behind money. She is incompetent and doesn' t understand patient problems and needs. Whenever we went to her for my wife' s pregnancy she wrote all the available tests without even asking and thinking.
