Hi, i just joined and i wanted to know how to cure dark under eye circles. Ive noticed my mom has them too and are they permanent for me?....and since i dont get that much sleep like on weekdays they get darker? What do \";eye\"; do? lol..... sobia replied. dear latty..U can also use the slices of cucumber and potatoes instead of the juice of cucumber and potatoes...Stress also increase the dark circle around ur eyes..So don't be tense .be happy and get 8 hours of sleep daily..

welcome 2 da board first of all!hope u enjoy the experience.
there r many reasons for dark circles like poor nutrition,lack of sleep,stress and hereditary.but u can lighten them.
first of all,improve ur diet.take foods rich in iron like apples and beetroots and also foods rich in vitamin A like fish and carrots.
secondly,u need to get atleast 8 hours of sleep daily.also,drink 8 to 10 glasses of water daily.
apply potato juice for 20 minutes on the dark circes.u can also apply cucumber juice before going to bed.
last but not least,u need 2 be very patient.all this will take time but u will get safe and wonderful results.atleast a month or two is necessary.so,be patient and live healthy!

I had dark circles too. I finally went to a dermatologist/plastic surgeon here in the US and he performed a 'Blue Gel' treatment which lightened my dark circles considerably in 5 sessions.
He put a light gel on the area, covered it with a small cup and then performed a light puff of blue light on each side.

I am very happy with the result. You should ask your dermatologist if it is available in India.
