Name: Latty Hi, what is the best way to cure dry skin...ive tried almost every lotion in the world and nothin seems to work! Its really heridtary in my family ive used scrubs and exfoliaters what else will 100% guaranteed work? and when i mean dry I mean DRY!....like my hands are rough? Shea butter seemed to work but then i ran out ill get more of that but wat other solutions?

as sobia said,that mixture is great too but please dont use glycerine on ur face.i have heard that its not good for the face.u can use it on ur hands or u can try the things i advised.the choice is upto u but dont use glycerine on ur face.

For the dryness of ur skin make a mixture in ur home..Mix glycerine and rose water in equal qty and apply this mixture in ur face as well as in ur hands..I hv tried this lotion and it works on me.it will norish ur skin and make it soft, smooth and beutifull..Believe me it's too good for dry skin..After washing ur face use this mixture but do not use soap in ur face as it will dry ur skin further.

dryness on hands can be due to over contact with soaps and water.dont use soap.instead,use a moisturising hand wash like dove.
wear gloves if u need to wash dishes or use soap fr any purpose.
massage ur hands with rich creamy milk+butter+honey daily for 15 minutes and then,wash it off with lukewarm water.
i tried st.ives aloe vera lotion.it works great!u may try that on ur hands before going t bed.or,apply aloe vera on ur hands.it is excellent for dry skin and will also lighten ur skin.dont use commercial products on ur hands.u have made a BIG misake by using scrubs cuz they tend to exract the oil from the skin while u used them on dry skin!
i hope all this helps.be patient and sincerely follow everything i said for maximum benefit for atleast a month or two.hopefully,u will get smooth,silky,soft hands!

hi sobia,
i just heard many times that glycerine should not be applied on the face.i dont know about its detaiil but dont u think its better to remain on the safer side?
glycerine+lemon juice will make ur skin fair.glycerine is similar to honey in most aspects.it moisturises,softens and tones the skin.so,u can use honey+lemon on ur face instead of glycerine.u can use glycerine on ur hands.

Hay Saniya!!!

Dera Saniya.I think glycerine+rose water is v.v.gud for dry skin as my skin is dry tooo and i m using this mixture from last 2 yrs.I do not use any other lotion or cream on my face and hands..After washinf the face i use glycerine+rosewater on my skin.I also hv heard that glycerine+lemonjuice makes u fair..Can u plz tell me the disadvantages of using glycerine on face??Well i also wanna infm u that still i didnt find any disadvantage of thiz mixture

dryness on hands can be due to over contact with soaps and water.dont use soap.instead,use a moisturising hand wash like dove.
wear gloves if u need to wash dishes or use soap fr any purpose.
