Joint Family:dil & daughter.

My mil shows diff between me & her daughter(I know we shouldn't expect mothers love from mil), I am talking in the sense of money, care etc.she collects the money from her sons(one of them is my husband), & gives it to her daughter.she takes money from sons, saying that , she needs the money for daily expenses. if my hubby asks for calculation, she will start cry. she will not allow my hubby to buy anything for me, when ever she is around.is it common in every house like this?.even she shows differnce between my child & her daughters child.how to deal with this prob?.

I dont know how to deal with this problem, but imagine one scene: you have got a child of your own. you take care of your child, for her eating, toilet, study, money, everything. you do all you can for your child, and then when your daughter is 20 years old, you think of adopting another girl child as your second daughter. So now tell me will you have the same emotions for both your daughters, one born from your own womb and stayed with you for last 20 yrs and other \";adopted\"; a few years back? Think and find the answer for yourself

Recently my Dad passed away and my mother will be alone. I have made enough money to retire comfortably but because I am used to the American lifestyle I can't live in India. Recently my relatives have started saying tha... - Venkat Dabri [View Message]
