my baby is 7 weeks old. we r having a tough time with him @ night. he cluster feeds from 9 pm to 3 am or even more. he wants to constantly nurse. he nurses fora while and dozes of to light sleep and then wakes up after 5 mts and cries. and he does this for hrs together. i have even tried giving formula as a top feed but works sometimes but its very tiring and frustrating. also during the day he feeds for 1 hr during every session..which leaves me just 30 mt interval between feeds as he feeds every 1.5 to 2 hrs. what can be the problem. im so tired.. swatikhona replied. When my son was born he needed constant nursing, which longed for an hr or more. But he had lactogen intolerance problem. B'coz of which he used to constipate a lot (which we discovered later)

Since ur baby is 7 weeks old. Wait for sometime a month or so for him to get adjusted (means demand n supply kind of thing)

I know this is not a good idea, but once or twice u can console him thru pacifier.
