Actually after coming to USA we went for annual checkup and our physician found that I have Hypothyroid. This was way before even getting pregnant and at that time my weight was in rangge for my height. The strength of medication started with .25mcg but now is .75. When my doctor chged my medication from .50 to .75 at that time I witnessed increase in periods length from 28 to 31. From that month I get periods around 31 days- regular.Yes, now i am slightly overweight. I know i should work out but do not find time rather cannot squeeze time for exercise with work and house work. I try to climb stairs of office atleast 2 ro3 times a day and that all action in my routine life.

Thanks...

Ratri,
I did suspect thyroidism in your case and you have just confirmed it.
Have you undergone ultrasound to see if you are a goiter patient or not. If not then go for it.
Also you did not tell if the present dose of 75 microgram maintain TSH levels in range.
How about antibodies against thyroid hormone?

Having known this factor accept the fact that you are prone to face delay with conception. Also there is possibility of miscarriage. You will have to monitor your dose and TSH and antibody levels on regular interval. What medication are you on?
Experiencing scanty or heavy period is perfectly normal for thyroid patients. Some hot flashes and tiredness, feeling hot in cold and cold in hot weather is normal too. You would need an utmost care in luteal phase to confirm pregnancy and also from the day you confirmed until completion of first triemster. You will not only work with gynecologist but with endocrinologist too.

yes, you should have no trouble getting pregnant if you are still in early 30s, have control on TSH levels, and TSH antibodies and take good care of yourself while handling chores and baby.
don't lift your baby too often that's not good in luteal phase for you. I forgot if your baby is infant or grown child but remember not to lift that child.
