hi my son who is 16months old say only few words like bye bye, thatha, amma, he always want to watch rhymes,flashcards on internet is that okey. and if i teach him in his books he close and run away but if i show him flash cards on system he enjoys wht is correct i dnot know wht to do ? should i stop showing him system...

For 16 months, he looks to be perfect. And boys are slower usually. So dont worry. While flash cards and rhymes are good and you can see that they start telling out the rhymes even without us really \" teach\" ing them, its better not to show too much of it. He needs lot of interactive talking. You should wait for him to \" say\" something before you react. Try and do that, and he will be just perfect.

Speech/language delay - 2.3 yr old boy

Our 28 months old boy is not speaking simple 2 or 3 word sentences yet. He speaks a few words such as mama, papa, aunty etc but definitely not more than 10. My son is less than 4 and has been diagnosed to be on the autism spectrum. He is non-verbal. We are taking him for OT and ABA/speech therapy.
