my prob is flat nipples.. i cud nt breast feed my 4 yr old son..im planning hte second n wish to B/f...kindly someone help how to make the nipples ok so tat the child can get the grip of sucking !! pls help

in addition to pumping you can also use nipple shields when the baby nurses.

ask yr gynec if u can massage yr breasts during the last trimester to bring yr nipples out. else. u can use a breast pump for a couple of days before and after feeds to draw out yr nipples. and in due course yr baby will draw it out naturally. this happ to me as my nipples were totally flat. best of luck

According to my gyno, I have some special hormones due to which i can easily lactate and due to that my motherly instincts are extremely high. I was lactating until 1 yr back & I still can induce if i want to breastfeed anyone.
