Hi,
Is it just me or wanted to know how your typical day is going?Iam just into baby 24/07,and not able to get pretty much any of my other jobs done, ever since I started his solids.
While S is awake I do manage to do basic house jobs playing with him but try to reserve cooking for when he is asleep. When he naps i dash for a quick bath&then get his stuff ready for lunch&try to grab a bite too by then he is up,then kept busy until he naps again which is when i cook.My evenings r all the more rushed&busy Iam having a good time but wish I COULD BE MORE ORGANISED.Would love to hear from those of you who r all alone managing baby!!

Hi Manvi,

I am also in the same boat.We both ( Arnav & me )wake up at 8 Am and give my hubby some breakfast ,chnage arnav's diaper and then feed him formula and then he again sleeps.I also join him and we both sleep till 10.30 AM .After that I give him cereal and I too eat cereal. Then I gave him bath. After that we both get ready to go to Gym.Till the time we came back from gym it is almost 2PM.then again I give him some soild food and I take shower while he is in his crib. Then I eat my lunch and he is in his swing. As he don't take any nap till 8 PM.Then I browse net and he plays with his gym.I start cooking at 5 PM .Then my huby comes around 6.30 PM.He plays lot with his daddy might get bored seeing me only al the day...He then takes half hour nap at 8 PM.at that we had our dinner..Then he sleeps at 11.30 -12 PM and so do we...I tried to change his sleeping time a lot..But can't .Yesterday he slept at 7.30 Pm we thought we won't let him wake now ..but he woke up at 11 and then till 1 he was in my arms....:(
this my boring routine in which i don't do anything except eating & sleeping :)

take care,
Bye
nikki

Subject:  my day

hi manvi,
it is great to hear from someone who is in the same boat as i am.
i try and make plans for the day,but mostly end up rushing in the evening.
i wake up pretty late.9.30am(formula feed appu at 6.30am then go back to sleep).at 9.30am give appu cereal and then while he relaxes in his bouncer i check mails or browse web.10.30am appu takes a very short nap .he does not really give me time to do anything in the meantime ,he is up by the time i think of doing something.anyway once he is up i do something in the kitchen ,he will be playing or will be trying to improve his skills at crawling .then he is up for a feed and nap by 12.30pm.after this feed he usually sleeps for 30 to 45 mins.then his lunch.then play time ,then nap time.by this time i do a lil yoga and run off to take a shower.then do a lil cooking.if he is up he will join me in the kitchen.then his feed ,his bath, his nap.time flies.i try to be organised but never happens.
wish we had more hrs in a day.
appu sleeps by 9pm.then i relax .
i have a toddler at home too.but she is very sweet and understanding.
she helps me a lil bit if she is in a good mood.helps by playing with the lil one.
love
to your lil one
sumitha

Hi Manvi,

I am not a SAHM, but with Mateen working in California I feel like a single mom during the week and here are somethings I do so that housework is almost negligible....Frozen curries and kawan or stuffed parathas for dinner, they taste quite yum. I eat lunch outside, and breakfast is my favorite oatmeal. I kid myself that I eat a healthy breakfast. And like most of us do, Gerber food for Sahil....this way the kitchen is closed all during the week....and all my time at home is just for Sahil, it feels pretty organized to me.....give it a shot, it might work for you too.

Hope it helps
Suni
