Feedback on DPS East, Bangalore ? Please help. - Nurseries and Schools Discussion Forum

Hi all:

Do we have any parents on the board who are sending their kids to DPS East ?. I am looking for admission of my son to that school and need some feedback about it. Is it as good as DPS North/South ?.

How is it when compared to NPS ?. I have applied for all their 3 branches, but need to wait for another month or so to get to know the results.

Kalpana Deepty replied. It is one of the worst rude ill mannered school. Principal has no manners as to how to talk to parents and the front desk is as good as automatic phone reply system who know to say only two words for every ans \" management decision\" . When you ask her who the management is so that we can talk ,ans is as simple as just ' NO' . I would suggest if the principal has no manners as to how to talk to parents then I am sorry what will our kids learn , being polite is the first thing that every parent wants their child to learn. The academics are not good. My child can hardly do his maths work. He is not still not creative and smart as children of other schools. I have already applied for his admission in Bishop Cottons, Freedom International and Gear Foundation. I thought this school will be the same as DPS, Delhi. But i am totally disappionted. Now I have only two option left to get him admitted either for Vidya Ravishankar at HSR or Norte Dame Academy.

Feedback - Norte Dame Academy -Sarjapur Rd

Hi Kalpana,

I am shilpa ...I need some urgent information on the feedback of Norte Dame Academy at Sarjapura Rd. I have posted this twice but got no reply so far. O.K then i´ ll be going to collect the forms from Bishop.

Any feedback on this Norte Dame Academy...because I have the application form but i have not applied for it. And I am not really very happy abt the infrastructure and the total strength is upto 50 + with new admission´ s.

shilpa, i dont know if u have boy/girl child(?) anyhow if u r interestd, u can apply in bishop boys/girls school. they give their applctn forms in the next month. However, i already checkd with sophias, they r not issuing the applctn forms as such and contact them in the month of april/may. cant rely on that.

Hi Shilpa,

Unfortunately, I have no idea about Norte Dame Academy. Infact, I came to know about this school only after your mail to this forum.

But as far as Sophia´ s is considered, its a traditional convent and supposed to be good. Did you try - St.Peters and India International ?. I have heard that they are good.

btw, I guess there might be good chances to get into DPS, since NPS admission list was out only couple of weeks back and many parents would have applied to both places. There are chances for atleast a few to pull out from DPS and go to NPS. Just my thought, I might be wrong.
