Dear Golden, Blessed Mom, hopingfortejas, Poochy, MotherTo Be, Ritu and all others,

I had my 16th week appointment yesterday. Everything is fine. We heard the HB thru doppler, the hb was 152. I have gained 5 pounds that's a great relief as I had lost weight previously. The doc has scheduled my U/S for the next visit that will be on August 9th. I am waiting to know the sex of the baby. What abt u girls, will u be interested in knowing or want it to remain a suspense ( I just hope I am not intruding by asking this question)

And sorry for not responding to some updates had gone out for the July weekend, but overall its good to know that all are doing fine.

Glad to hear abt ur update that all's well at ur end with u n ur li'l one :) as far as am concerned , i wud like to keep the gender chek of the baby a suspense :) let's c what surprise we get at the end !! Do tk cr of urself n have a safe pregnancy.

I have my appointment next week.I'll be 18weeks pregnant by then. I don't know if my doctor will order Ultrasound this time or she'll wait till I be 20weeks.

I know it'll be very exiciting to see the baby for the first time on ultrasound!! Me and my hubby will probably find out the gender. Why not utilize this facility which is available here in USA where it is legal to reveal the gender:)

blessed_mom Leo replied. Wow it is great to hear that u r feeling something inside, it is really hard not to find out the sex of the baby and keep it a suspense. Especially with the facility available in the US, it is tempting. Anyway at the end of the day what matters is a healthy baby- boy or girl becomes immaterial. Good luck for ur u/s.

my u/s is on july 17th and i have been counting days for that from a long long time ... i feel so excited that we are going to get a glimpse of our baby :) ..

u know, i have alos started feeling soemthing moving inside me, i would not say kicks but some indication that something inside me is trying to wiggle and that feeling just makes my day no mater however busy or confused state i am in :) ...

abt the sex of te baby, my husband wants to know but i am not sure ...we will have toanyway decide soon ..will let all of you if i do decide to find out if it is aboy or a girl :) :) ..

Good to hear that u had ur appointment and every thing is fine.I have my U/S next week and i am eagerly waiting for that.

ritu Leo replied. Hi Siha, I think u can know the sex of the baby anytime after 16wks(not sure though) but at 20 wks appointment most ob suggest an U/S mostly to chk the well being of the baby and growth. The sex of the baby is clearly seen then. Good luck with ur appointment.

Yes poochy because of morning sickness I lost weight initially, but now that I am in my 4th month, the morning sickness has subsided, enjoying all foods now. My EDD is 19th December, so as of now it seems that our EDD's as close.

Good to hear from you. I have my u/s on 17th july. And i can't wait to know the sex of the baby. As i plan to decorate the nursery accordingly. So what is your EDD??

Did you lose weight coz of m/s?? Boy, i've been gaining pounds since the day i found out!! And since i'm quite short, i'm scared about managing all the weight gain till the end. But anyway, i hope you are eating well!!
