NCFE Bangalore LKG selection - waiting and waiting - Nurseries and Schools Discussion Forum

30th Nov: From NCFE I' ve got a call to come for interaction on Wednesday, 5th Dec
5th Dec:
- Went for interaction
- taken my baby inside for questioning and testing/activities on their criteria (don' t know what' s their criteria) etc..
- after that they called us inside for talk, at least they didn' t ask anything to me..but they asked about my mrs as she is a Montessori teacher.
- after all these they said they' ll call us in 2 days time..
10th Dec: Called up to their office to know what happened, but the reception lady said that still process is going on and I' ve to wait for week or two. When I asked just let me know if we are in or out then she said she doesn' t know the internal stuff..but you wait.
12th Dec: I' m waiting and waiting and waiting....
If any of you guys have any further updates then please share us.. sapu replied. To all of you who are reading this review,
my son is studying in NCFE.we are repenting for putting him in such a bad school.they are money oriented,greedy and the way of educating children is horrible.my sincere request to all the parents is that pls do not put your little ones in such school and be a victim of spoilig there future.

very concerned parent satty replied. The principal of NCFE is crazy and that old man gotta big mouth. Unnecessary he was talking and complaining about parent when I met him. His attitude was of a proper \" Baniya\" if you want you pay or get lost. He was confused too...and many of his talk was to impress his chairman. One incident he was talking about that one parent complaint that your reception lady was very rude while asking something then He (old man) said people should watch their behavior too. sbmn replied. One of my friend' s kid go to ncfe and they were being told that the school got affiliation.

This is a good news for all parents whose kids are being put there.

I am also sending my son from next session. itsBad replied. We' re not taking admission in NCFE.. My daughter is in Montessori stream and we wanted M2 but they' ve given us LKG and saying that she can' t be taken into M2. My wife is Montessori teacher and she' s doesn' t want shifting from Montessori base to KG (kinder garten)
We are not interested in LKG so looks like we are dropping it.. Meanwhile I' ve dropped a mail to NCFE chairman and Principal asking him to consider our request..lets see what gonna happen... Hi All, Feel urself lucky in case ur ward didn' t get admission at NCFE. NCFE is nothing more than a loot house with no CBSE affiliation at the moment... they charged exorbitant sum from selected wards without reveling affiliation status at all... satty replied. I' m keep calling NCFE but these guys are not taking call..and its just ringing and ringing satty replied. My friend had attended an interview last tuesday, she got as call form them this saturday.
Even her son was offered a chocalate, which he took so that obviously is not a criterion.

We too had attended interview for LKG. After two days we got the call and paid the registration fee. My wife is also working, so I dont think working mom is a criteria. Even I heard abt this while I submitted the application. Rajeev replied. We too have been waiting for the confirmation/rejection call from NCFE after appearing in interview/selection process on 30-Nov.. as per unofficial reports they had rejected our son cause their management don' t prefer working moms.. is not this highly unethical and autocratic behaviour towards working women.. what kind of education one should expect from the school whose management is so partial and unfair towards working women.. sha replied. Our interview was on 30th Nov, No call after that, Receptionist repeats same words . Don' t know how long to wait. If they clearly say ' OUT' then I could have tried in some other schools. AA replied. We also went in for the interaction on 5th dec..They took our kid in,don' t know what they asked her,after that met the vice-principal,asked her about the school etc and then she told us that they will inform us in two days time..

Haven' t gotten any communication from them,but know of ppl who went in for the interaction on the same day have gotten call saying that their kid is selected..

After two days i called and checked with the reception lady,she asked me to wait for their call...So don' t know whats going on..

I somehow have a feeling that i did not receive a call because of the age factor of my kid but then on the contrary i feel that if that was the case then they shouldn' t have called us for the interaction itself..Wonder what their criteria is ????

i am trying for NCFE this year.

I am moving to bangalore and nearest to the place i stay is NCFE school for my kids. Trying to get seats for my kids in 4th and LKG in this school. Can anyone comment how good this school is? what are the annual fees, this years admission is over? what is the standard of education? Anyone please help.

I think its not the principal, but the lady at the reception is the problem. She is doing everything possible to spoil the image of NCFE. She has a " who cares" attitude towards the parents and does not give a heed to their concerns.

One of my friend' s kid go to ncfe and they were being told that the school got affiliation.

This is a good news for all parents whose kids are being put there.

i feel that u shd have a second thought before paying the school fees. There r lot of international schools too with the same range. if 75k is the amount now, it might go double when ur dauter goes 5th std. (the school is quiet new(may be less than 2yrs old)so i think all this r hidden costs.

Initially I thought so

Initially I thought so to go for I-schools..but after hearing about Ryan and others about not so good and to much in money I thought it´ s better to have some reputed one..and that too within 5-7km of radius.
My wife was in favor of ShishuGriha/NPS ..which are other reputed one but for shishugriha u only get admission either in 2.5 yrs (playshool) or 6 yrs (standard 1) but not in between and NPS was already crying that we are not able to manage our alumnae/staff kids, so please don´ t try....

so NCFE is not a branch of NPS, NCFE is in collaboration with NPS so itÂ´ ll be mentioned in its form or prospectus but in NPS youÂ´ ll not find any mention about NCFE, they donÂ´ t have any need for it. "

Its like the same that you know your PM but doesn´ t mean that he knows you as well!!!
so NCFE is not a branch of NPS, NCFE is in collaboration with NPS so it´ ll be mentioned in its form or prospectus but in NPS you´ ll not find any mention about NCFE, they don´ t have any need for it.

Keep your hope alive

Keep your hope alive..why I´ m saying????
B´ cos, today one of my colleague gotta a call from NCFE for coming for interaction. Fortunately or unfortunately he has already booked his seat in one of DPS by paying lump sum amount 60K, but still he´ ll be going just to talk or for courtesy. I´ ve told him to go there and kick on their A** why they´ ve delayed so much!!!
Okay for you and others who are waiting (I understand the kind of agony one has while waiting), I´ ve chatted with some of kids (because NCFE bus comes down my apartment) and they told that admission (calling candidates and offering seat) keep going till march. So you can wait and from core of my heart I´ m wishing that you guys get the seat in NCFE or some better schools because that´ s your rights and its shame on our government that they never bother about the basic necessity of its citizen but expect that we pay our taxes which they can enjoy on.
Being parent is the tough role and we all are trying to do justice with our responsibility..
At least once we grown old we don´ t want to hear from kids that papa what have you done, why haven´ t you put us in good schools..And we´ ll be not brave enough to tell them that LAL BAHADUR SHASTRI (our ex PM, respected freedom fighter and one of real leader) never been to the schools like of our age where money comes before knowledge. So earlier kids were gaining knowledge and now they are buying knowledge (and their parents pay money for them :))
