They ask me to deposit 2 DDs of 20K and 34.5K and there is no relaxation that it can paid in 1-2 month time. They want everything upfront. Apart from above you have lot many other things to pay but not now :) like 2nd term fee, Transport if needed, Uniform, textbooks, special events, trips

affiliation shouldn´ t be problem

affiliation shouldn´ t be problem....the kind of name it has and association with NPS is enough to get it affiliated. And on the top of it the kind of parents (almost all are high profile guys except me :)...)involved with school, they´ ll pull government if they feel need.
But anyway if you see on forms and broacher they´ ve mentioned as Approved by Government for CBSE.. I dont know what does it mean as such...

somehow able to talk to these guys on fees

I´ ve called up these guys and they are asking two DDs
one of 20K (Reg) for some trust name and second one 34.5K for ncfe name. But both DDs have to be deposited at once and that too within one week...
Any way tomorrow I´ m going to school to talk to these guys to know more on it and update you all the same.
Somehow I´ m not able to understand why they charge so much money...even in my engineering I´ ve not paid half of the amount they are asking..
Looks like parents are always at receiving end :)....

Totally 75K

The application had the fees pamphlet. Totally, it was coming to 75K for 1st year. 20K as admission. 10K as deposit. 13k two times a year as fees. etc etc. Its a big list (nicely prepared :-)) But, not everything to be paid in one shot.

Hi All, Feel urself lucky in case ur ward didn' t get admission at NCFE. NCFE is nothing more than a loot house with no CBSE affiliation at the moment... they charged exorbitant sum from selected wards without reveling affiliation status at all...

we know it but.....

problem is that we know it..but at the same moment it got good reputation on study part and most of they guys whose wards are going in it are happy with progress of their kids...
And thing is that most (I said most but not all) of the schools in B´ lore working as money machines...They infact know the weakness of parents..If you see that many parents are too busy with their job and problem and getting good school is another headache so sooner it get over you are in better shape as well.

My friend had attended an interview last tuesday, she got as call form them this saturday.
Even her son was offered a chocalate, which he took so that obviously is not a criterion.
This is just an FYI...

Hi All,

We too had attended interview for LKG. After two days we got the call and paid the registration fee. My wife is also working, so I dont think working mom is a criteria. Even I heard abt this while I submitted the application.

NCFE selection criteria

I enquired with many who didn´ t get call eyet. What I could understand is they have no criteria, may be they do cherry picking.

Those who didn´ t call after 2 working days can easily guess that you have been rejected. Try some other schools, don´ t wait indefinitely for ncfe call.

So what are their criterias for selecting some and rejecting rest.. they offer toffies to the kid and most kids fall for it... is this their trap to reject someone..!!?? come on.. i really see no particular reason behind rejecting any tiny tot and if the mgmt is really fair they should disclose the facts or least inform us for not to wait any longer.......

We too have been waiting for the confirmation/rejection call from NCFE after appearing in interview/selection process on 30-Nov.. as per unofficial reports they had rejected our son cause their management don' t prefer working moms.. is not this highly unethical and autocratic behaviour towards working women.. what kind of education one should expect from the school whose management is so partial and unfair towards working women..

NCFE Bangalore - Waiting for admission call for LK

We too have been waiting for the confirmation/rejection call from NCFE after appearing in interview/selection process on 30-Nov.
The worst part of the interaction with us was, they have´ nt talked with us at all just asked for chocolate to the kid. Also keep on telling afternoon session kids are feeling very tiry....lets wait what we can do..

Our interview was on 30th Nov, No call after that, Receptionist repeats same words . Don' t know how long to wait. If they clearly say ' OUT' then I could have tried in some other schools.

In the same boat

We also went in for the interaction on 5th dec..They took our kid in,don' t know what they asked her,after that met the vice-principal,asked her about the school etc and then she told us that they will inform us in two days time..

Haven' t gotten any communication from them,but know of ppl who went in for the interaction on the same day have gotten call saying that their kid is selected..

After two days i called and checked with the reception lady,she asked me to wait for their call...So don' t know whats going on..

I somehow have a feeling that i did not receive a call because of the age factor of my kid but then on the contrary i feel that if that was the case then they shouldn' t have called us for the interaction itself..Wonder what their criteria is ????
