Hi All,
We had our kid´ s interview for LKG on Tuesday in NCFE. We got a call from NCFE mentioning that the kid got selected and need to pay the registration fee.

Oh..ok. Somehow I feel it´ s not right to conduct interviews for the kids for Nursery/LKG. Children may or may not answer the Qns although they will be knowing the answers.

Yes...I have applied in New Horizons also...have got to go for an interview on 18th. How about you? Have you applied?

Went to NCFE today..My daughter was taken in alone first and was asked few ques like her name,some colors,vegetables etc..

Then both parents with the kid were invited in to meet the vice principal.She spoke to us generally about the school and all.We were told that we will be informed in two days time..
So lets see

Ok cool...did they ask you any specific Qns? I have heard in some schools they really grill the parents with Qns..:)
So, will your daughter be taken for UKG or LKG?

THats a tough ques to answer..LEts see how the interview goes and they will put the list only after a week or so..And if she get thru have got two days to decide on it..So lets see what we decide...Will keep u posted on that front..

I think I applied sometime in the first week of NOV and they had mentioned that i shuld be getting a call after 3 weeks..But got a call after a month..So still some more time to go for u i guess

Regarding NPS admission ,the lady was telling me they are complying with some Court order or something where in u are not supposed to finish the admission formalities before april or something..But they are not sure if that is valid for all the classes or not..So thats why the long wait..

Called up NPS today...they said the montessori admissions have started but the LKG admissions is yet to start. The lady asked tme to check up next week.

Ya...I read something about the court order in the newspapers but I thought that was with regard to the Delhi CBSE schools....didn´ t know that the All India CBSE schools should also follow the same.

I submitted the forms for HSR nps also today..If u are interested they are giving out forms in indiranagar for that..

THe lady out there again told me nothing has happened so far on the admission front..She told me that the school will close for christmas from 20th,so u might hear before that ,nothing is decided as to when to start making the calls and all it seems..

SO still there is some hope

Thx for the info. Oh well....wonder why they are delaying it so much....it´ s a tough and long wait. I thought I can complete the admissions by mid Dec and peacefully spend Xmas hols....now that´ s not going to be!!

Hmmm...haven´ t received any call from NCFE so far. I had applied quite late in that school sometime in 3rd wk of Nov and they had told me that I can expect to hear from them sometime in mid Dec. When did you apply in NCFE?

HSR layout wud be far for me so will skip that....no plans on shifting out of my own house for now...

So are you planning to go ahead with NCFE if you get thru?

Hmmm U are rite...May be will get a form for NPS hsr also..For me distance is not a problem since we are deciding on moving closer to the school,so that gives me a wide range of option

Good luck to u for the admissions.Hopefully we will get to hear from some place soon.Will keep u posted if i get any call..

I am sure about the NCFE though i have applied there.One of my friend' s kid was in mont there last year,she was not happy with the school,but I know moms who says that they are very happy with the school..So don' t know whom to believe..Looks like the expectations are different of different ppl so the liking also differs..
Yes the age criteria is different..My daughter is a nov born kid so they told me she will be going to UKG..I asked them to take the app for LKG only..Then they said when u come in for the interaction we can decide..So lets see..


I am getting so worried now..Looks like NPS HSR layout has also started issuing forms from today...I am in two minds whether i should apply there or not...

Since NCFE is a relatively new school it must be having some teething problems....but generally the quality of teachers in NPS and its affiliate schools are good and for me that´ s a big plus point. Allthough some parents are more keen on extra curricular activities and other facilities in the school...then NPS may not be THE school for them. For me the distance and the quality of teachers are good factors on deciding the school.

I can understand your worries....I too want the admissions to get over soon and relax....am constantly worrying about. Want to decide on other schools based on NPS call. Well if NPS HSR is not too far from your place then you can apply for that also.

Yesterday i went and checked there,they told me that since the main guy is travelling and will be bak only in the first week of DEc,it will take another 10 days..have u applied at NCFE also???

Oh cool....I was going to call them up & find out...thanks for the info.
I have applied in NCFE also....what´ s your feedback on NCFE? heard that they follow same rules,pattern as NPS. But I found that their age eligibility criteria for LKG is different from NPS.

Even I am waiting to hear from them..

One of my friend whose kid is admitted in NPS LKG told me that last year she got a call from NPS only in Jan..So still more time to go..

Oh really..in Jan?? I thought they put out the list by last week of Nov/1st wk of Dec.....when I went to drop the application the lady at the reception told me that we´ ll hear from them at the end of Nov....so I had almost lost hope. Thanks for keeping my hopes alive:)
