I am from April2005 msg board.I have been making curds at home from past 3 yrs here in US.To set the curds, boil the milk on stove or microwave(even just warming also works but boiling is good). After it cools down a little, put the culture into it.When u put the culture, the milk shud be lukewarm and not too cold.

For the cultute,I got the homemade indian curds from an indian store nearby.Check out there or also form other indian friends. If u don't get Indian curds anywhere,U can try dannon itself for culture.Have heard from one of my friend that it works too.

Hope this info will be useful!
