Subject:  About games....

Hi Hetal,
We had organized for games through event managers. They conducted 2 games for children & 2 for elders. Even though children enjoyed playing, when it comes to winning they all competed very hard and i felt my purpose of arranging (enjoyment not competation) was some what defeated. One boy cried as he was eliminated initially itself.
But somehow we patched it up before it went out of control by giving chocolates and sweets to all the kids. So when you arrange for games make sufficient backup plans.
Best part was the bouncer which was placed near the entrance. All kids enjoyed it.
About the games played :
1. Head, shoulders feet - The organizer keeps telling the names of any of these organs. But he misleads by touchins some other part. Kids have to concentrate only on what he says and not look at him.
2. Simon says - Organizer tells out phrases like "Simon says touch your toes", "Simon says scratch your head" and so on kids have to do it only if the action is followed by "Simon says ... ".
3. Vegetable market (12 & above) - Cards with vegetable names written are distributed to people. Common vegetables have to group together as early as possible.
4. Rope game (for couples)- It is like musical chair.
5. Number game (Men Vs. women) - Numbers from 0 to 5 are given to members in each group. The organizer tells some numbers like "what is 412+4", then people with nos. 4,2 &0 have to come together.

All the best for Neeru's party,
Veena

Breast pumps
I am using a medela pump to feed my baby when I am out. The medela breast pumps are really a good choice for the working moms. We can pump the milk regularly and can store it and use whenever needed.... - dalewhither [View Message]
evenflo elan breast pump
Buy this pump! It’s made my life so much easier. I always got sore with my old Medela Advanced, but that never happens with the Ameda Purely Yours Breast Pump. What really makes a difference is its ease of use. It’s really easy to switch between pumping phases and take apart to clean. Strongly recommend it for all mothers that pump daily.... - stellatylor [View Message]

try this
As we discussed earlier in this forum I used magnetic alphabets , through which he has learnt alphabets within a week. And number within 4 days.
It is as like take the letter and stick to it where ever he goes more and ask him to search a particular letter. this worked very well for me.
all the best... - Manju [View Message]
