Hi everyone

Have you all registered with your hospitals yet? What is the right time to register? My Doc's brochure says that we have to do it in the fifth month, but isnt that too soon?

Hi Vandana,

Thanks for reminder. I totally forgot about this. My Doctor gave me a form in my last visit only. I am in my sixth month now. I will do it ASAP.

I have also heard the same thing you should do it by the end of fifth month or starting of sixth month.

Take Care

For us, we are directly pre-admitted at the hospital (Maybe becuase my doctor and hospital are a part of the same organization?). We don't have to fill out any special forms. Perhaps it is different if your doctor practises privately. We do have to register to take a hospital tour, which I will be attending in September. Hope that helps.

Hey Vandana, I was told by my doc to go on a hospital tour sometime in August and register for prenatal classes afterward(my delivery and checkup hospitals are different)but I am unsure as to registering with the hospital. Does everyone have to do it?? What is the purpose for it??

Hi Avi

You need to pre-register with the hospital that you are going to deliver at, so that they are informed and ready for you around your delivery date. They also need to handle all your insurance paper work beforehand. Check with your Doc/hospital about this.

Diaper Service Provider,Bangalore
Hi,
Does anyone know if there is a Diaper Service Provider in Bangalore? They generally provide cloth diapers and replace them with a new set every 2-3 days.

Thanks in advance
