When I weighed my baby after a month, he fell short by 300 gms. Doctor said weight gain should be 600 gms from birth weight. Since i was exclusively breastfeeding him, she said my milk supply must be less. My baby feeds every hour, so I assume she's right. Now I supplement with formula, and am taking some medicines to increase supply. But not much progress. Please can someone tell me of ways to increase milk supply. I had the same problem of inadequate milk supply. I uesd to get just 6oz of milk during the whole day.
I started taking Fenugreek tablets(610 mg, 2 tablets 3 times a day), and Voila, I can see a change in a week. I don't need formula at all. Believe me, this works.

Try Methi seeds. My mom was here(Iam in US)for my delivery so this is what she used to give me.
Garlic curry
5/6 garlic pods cut into small pieces,cook them with chopped onions and tomato.You can add little bit salt and hot chilli powder for taste.Don't overdue the chilli powder.You can eat this with rice or chapathi.I used to eat it everyday, Iam positive that garlic helps with the milk production.And also I used to eat atleast 3/4 slices of bread in milk.Try these...Good Luck
