hi archie; hope u remember me; i had an HSG last week; the radiologist's report says that right tube is not seen; my gynec says that it could be a congenital block or a muscle contraction during injection of the dye; my periods are still regular and there are no symptoms to justify any recent blockage she says; she wants to get a second opinion from another radiologist b4 trying cannulation in my next cycle.

in the meantime, my query is this:
the last couple of days were my fertile period for this month; assuming my right tube is blocked, how does that affect my ttc chances this month? if it was my right ovary's turn to release an egg.. this month can be considered a 'miss' right?

additional info: i took 100 mg clomiphene citrate from CD2 to CD6 this month. archie replied. Krsna,
it's certainly a good idea to redo hsg before taking steps further to assure that it's authentic result.
Lets say you have block in right tube, then egg released from right ovary is futile with reference to conceiving.

clomid will help improving ovulation chances. I am confused why clomid when you have normal periods? Did you see hormones are series of ultrasound to note trouble with ouvlation before clomid treatment.
