Hi! i wanted to know from all the experienced mothers, how taxing is it for a child to first go to a pre-school and then to day-care? I am planning to send my son to a pre-school. He would be going there in the mornign at arund 8:45 AM. From there, the van will take him, to his day care and drop him there. I wanted to know as to how taxing is it for the child??? Generally, how willing will the child be to take these changes??

Yes, my son is already going to a day care. Actually the day care to which he is going does not have a good preschool. Otherwise, he is very happy in that day care.

I have tried it and completely disagree with this system. A child in that age gets confused. The rule sets, systems, care-givers are different which is very confusing for a child. God forbid if you find any unpleasant behaviour pattern in your child, you would find it very difficult to know the cause. Worst case try to find a pre-school that has its own day care.

I learnt the hard way.All the best.
