My baby has eczema too. Like Priya, even I am applying Hydrocortisone (2 1/2 percent). Doctor has asked us to use Purpose Cleansing bar instead of Johnson & Johnson. What are you using?

My son's ped. gave bactroban and elidel creams for eczema.

Bactroban on areas where water coming out and elidel for rest of the body.
Let's see how it goes.

My son also scratching his head and cheeks a lot and that liquid thing coming out.

We have an appointment with Ped. Next Thursday and will update you after that.

Let me know, what your Ped. says about that liquid coming out from baby.

We had an appointment with a skin specialist yesterday. He said that it was hereditary, there's nothing we can do about it. As for the liquid, he has asked us to give her a warm water compress with cotton balls. I've been doing that thrice a day. You try it out too and do update me next week after the appointment.

We use Hydrocortisone very rarely. Only if it's too worst, then we use Hydrocortisone, because, his ped. doesn't like to use any steriod creams on small babies.

Now, my son's face is improved. Here is what we did:

--Using Dove moisturizer wash for face
--Using Johnson & johnson head to toe for head, thinking of switching to Dove
--During day time, Acquaphor for face
--Eucerin for body, after bath

I am trying to find info. about proteque(www/proteque/com)

What kind of detergent do you use to wash your baby's clothes.

Thanks for the information. It really helps. My baby's skin is getting worse by the day, some kind of a pasty liquid keeps oozing out. That's why the doctor has asked me to apply Hydrocortisone, that high a percentage. She is also on antibiotics as doctor thinks that she has infection. She also keeps scratching inspite of wrapping her up, which is worsening the situation. I'll talk to the doctor about your tips. Again, thanks for sharing.

By the way, I use Dreft. I've been using the same for our clothes too!
