Hi all ,

Im a mother of a 8 months and 3 weeks old baby boy .. i have few q's to ask abt baby stuff .. sometimes i feel like im not good in developing my baby , i dnt know how to teach him , recently i started to read book to him , but i think he dnt like it , he's not listening to me and play around , and most of the playtime i just let him to play alone , he just move around the house using his tummy , somebody pls tell me wat are the things that i can do to stimulate the baby brain and make him smart ... and im not sure wat toys to buy for him and i need suggestion for some good books .. my baby still not that good in sitting but he is very active , he loves to stand , is it ok if i make him to stand for 10 - 15min .. Im having pressure from my MIL ( she scolding that im not good in teaching my baby etc), that's the main reason im not able to concentrate with my baby , i started solid when he was 4.5 months , because of some allergy i stop solids and start at 5.5 months , he still not following the schedule sometimes he taking only 1/2 times solid , in some days if he gets up late around 10am i have to skip all the meal (3times) have to give only formula , till now im dng that not able to feed him solids thrice a day , is this ok ? I really need to know how to spend time with baby , somebody pls guide me ..

Dont be disappointed on baby feeds they eat only as much as they want. Some babies are slow in starting solid stuff. If he is cranky and crying all the time then may be he is feeling hungry else his food is suffient. Take him to park. You get rhyme cd put them on when he is playing.
