Nurseries and Schools:not talking in school

my only son 5 years old is started speaking late at the age of 3 years. He is active and having very good observations and memory. But he is not talking with other children in school and not answering to teacher' s questions.But in home he will tell to us whatever his teacher told him.

What we could do. please give suggestion.

Subject:  had same pblm with my kid



I had the same pblm with my kid during his initial week of schooling.

I did this on the second week - Gave a picture book to him ( that he used to read to me at home) and then asked him to show it and explain it to the people in school. Also I informed about this to his teacher and requested her cooperation.
From that day my kid started comfortably talking in school.
