Reality shows are a waste of time. These shows only waste the precious time and energy of the children. Rather than concentrating on studies, these children spend a lot of time on the sets. It does come under child labour, because what they are doing is a form of work for which they getting paid.

Reality shows and children

Children are under immense pressure in reality shows. All shows should have a psychologist on their team as some already do. It is possible to have a mental trauma after being rebuked in front of the entire country. Reality shows disadvantages are many and especially reality shows featuring children should be banned.

Reality shows are drama. The harsh comments of the judges can really lead to low self-esteem in a child. There should definitely be an age limit for participating in reality shows. I think 18 is the right age. It gets very difficult for the child when he or she gets eliminated or criticized.
