nakul as it is hates food..now hes not eating anything..he jus needs the fruit puffs..i dont know wat to give him, so frustrated..plz give me some ideas..and suggestions..really worried..
-prid Priya replied. Pridu i think nakul maybe teething, if he likes puffs maybe because it helps his sore gums . i think he will eat after this phase so if he takes milk right now thats fine
Priya Hetal replied. hi, try offering him variety of foods. try increasing the food texture to lumps..since he liked fruits puffs, might be a possibility that he needs something that he can chew..this also happens to be a sign of teething ! when in teething, babies like to eat something that they can chew and it also happens when they want more of different foods with diff textures,,,,there are good teething biscuits available in market,,give that,,
also, give him whole boiled vegies, when nirja gets teeth pain, she doesnt eat any of her foods, but some of her fav vegies when given whole and boiled, she likes to pick and eat,,,
c whatever works,,,
try boiled wholegrain/multigrain pastas,,there are these colourful pastas available in different shapes and colours in walmart/wholefoods.,,they arent artifically coloured, they are vegie coloured pastas like red for tomato, green for spinach,and deep red for beetroot,yellow for pineapple..and with different funny cute shapes,babies love to c them and eat them...try those.
check his gums, if swollen or so,,check on his weight,temperature if any,,and his milk intake as well.
try offering things in liquid if he drinks that by sippy cup.

when it comes to babies, its always better to talk to your dr, esp a sudden change in their any habits.
