hello Shweta,
good to hear that u are expecting once again, but your decision to continue this pregnancy should depend on your mental and financial state as suggested by Sangeeta. It is very sad to hear that ' girls' are still unwelcome in India. Don' t make this as an issue to terminate your pregnancy, listen to your yourself and spouse and then decide. I am sure you will take the best step.
good luck

hi shweta

i really don' t understand the logic here.. why would anyone in their right mind not want a baby girl..ESP since you already have a boy.. it' s sad really.. it must put a lot of pressure on you.. but i agree with Sangeeta.. it is entirely between your husband and you.. if you both feel you can provide for your 2nd child, mentally and financially, then only should you go for it.. the gender of the child should not be your deciding factor.. but all said and done, you are the one going through this dilemma and we can only offer suggestions.. if you have to face your in-laws constant ire just because you have made a decision in favour of having the child then you have to decide for yourself whether you will be able to stand up to their comments and defend your decision.. obviously, in the practical world, women in this generation should not be defending their choices.. but the older generation still believe that their advice should be taken.. so u need to introspect and also talk to your hubby and make ur choice.. good luck! i hope this matter is resoleved soon

well... this issue should be best solved between u and ur hubby..

If u both r ready MENTALLY & FINANCIALLY for a second one then go for it.. it' s a very sensitive issue for us to advice or comment.

and one more thing, i hate such people who say Son is important.. and daughter is not really welcomed. uff! when will people change this mentality???
