Hi all, I am new to this site, & thought I can share my problems about my BIL(elder brother of my hubby) here.he filled my hubby's ears that, my mom has made some comment on some money matters on him 5 years back.& my husband told that with me.I clarified it with my mother, she told she never told anything like that, she told me call him to our house& she will promise that in front of god.that time she was very ill. & she cried alot for putting on her such comment.recently she passed away. That incident was always bothered me & I was emotionaly hurt.this time when my hubby called my BIL , I littraly shouted at him, for saying my mother like that.he shouted back at me, insulted me badly.after all these, my hubby laughs at me & takes his brothers side.so do you people think I did anything wrong??..pls comment.

Hi Ash, thankyou for your reply.I know i shound't have lost my temper, since he is atleast 8-10 older to me.but on otherway I have so many reasons.

The most part I got hurt, my mom was ill since2-4 years, even though he knew she is not going to survive, he never came to see her once(he lives close by).even tough face to face he meets. but never talks to her.another thing is when she passed away, he didn't even called me, or showed any simpathy or concern..but he tries to talk to me when my hubby is around..why this drama in front of my hubby??..all these things I told my hubby, I think he is aware of his mistakes, but he never agrees with me.or he just want to leave the situation & continue with the relation, I don't know....
Since that shouting incident he never talks to me & his wife also doesn't talk to me.Yes I am realy angery with him, but also I feel like I am bringing gap between two brothers.but is it totaly my mistakes???..

Should a single man live with his mum in India?
I am a man in my late 40s and I have lived abroad in USA for the past two decades. I never had any interest in marrying or having kids so I never married. Recently my Dad passed away and my mother will be alone. I have made enough money to retire comfortably but because I am used to the American lifestyle I can't live in India.
