Iam a regular of this column.I have a peculiar problem.my daughter hides things from me.recently her class teacher complained about her that she had scribbled something ,a game called flames about a boy and girl of their class.which according to her was an inappropriate behaviour.initially my daughter denied doing it but when the handwritings were matched it was found that she had done it.now my daughter promised me that she would not do this again but i dont trust her completely.she is otherwise good in her studies.most of her teachers say that she doesnt come on her own to answer unless they ask her.she is my only child iam worried.i only hope she doesnt fall into bad company as she is only 8 yrs old.how would i cultivate that she should not lie things to me and be truthful ss replied. yeah, change from that stupid school who consider playing 'flames' as a high tech crime..Looks like you have a normal daughter who is doing things normal for her age..Please do not make her feel guilty for unnecessary things & make her aggressive or viceversa...ok?...
Falling into bad company is a different thing..but among just 8 year olds there cannot be any child who is really bad or anything...
Do not create problems for her from your side just because of your worries when actually she has done nothing wrong....she might start hiding things from you..

Ruby has given u very good advice. Yes, flames is not a bad game, I have seen my niece of 12 years age also playing the same in her rough book, just for fun.
I would advice you to talk to your daughter with open mind. Tell her that she shouldn't have lied to u. Encourage her to talk to u about who her friends are and how was her day in school.
Is she playing some games. If not, u can put in her some activity like swimming or dance class.
Also reward her appropriately when she does good work like got good marks.
Best of luck and take care. ruby replied. hey thiz iz too silly thing..i am wondered why her teachers complaint for thiz silly things.FUI flames iz not something so bad game which ur daughter wrote in her book ..itz juz like choosing a letter frm flames like friend,affection,love,enemies etc..so therez nothing wrong in it..itz juzt a game n ur daughter iz too small ..i think u shud change her school first..as she 'z gud in studies why do they complaint if she answers by her own or if they askk..it might b her nature..she may b shy kid..and she initially denied bcuz she might have afraid that flames iz such a worst game that mom iz scolding her...dunt confuse ur little girl..dunt soil her for these silly things..these r usual fun which almost all the kids play n do..let her do some fun..trust ur baby..teach her gud moral things instead of keeping a wrong eye n dunt hear wat others say abt ur baby.see i was the one who will play flames wid my friends was gud in studies n other curricular activities..even i used to tell my mom all the fun i do at school..b a friend to ur daughter so that she wunt lie to u..after all i am a gud n gr8 housewife blessed wid a beautiful girl leading a cool life.
