Somehow iam not able to trace the reason for Siddharth's rash&though his Ped seems real cool abt it&calls it Seborrhea iam not convinced.
He has no dandruff or an oily skin both of which predispose to seborrhea.Now iam considering food allergies(this is one thing I have been worried abt since i got pregnant bcos lot of indian babies here do get allergies)
His rask looks red&grainy on his face&last eve i noticed similar rash developing on his arms,legs&back.The last few wks the rash has been coming&going,just want to trace the cause so i know what to avoid.Anyway now i plan to stop peanuts,eggs&shrimp in my diet.How many of u r using Johnson's head to toe baby wash vs Dove soap.Right now iam not using anything on his face&continuing the Johnson's for his head&body.Otherwise feeding wise all is going in fine&he does take formula occasionally when the need arises/
How r all your babes doing?How has their wt gain been?Siddharth was born 8.3lbs &was 9lbs at 5wks,his growth has been slow a little i think.
Otherwise he is a real sweet heart&sleeps most of the nite&is a little rascal during the day just feeding&playing.

Hope u r doing fine and had smooth interviews. Don't think should worry about the rashes, face is more delivate, try not using any soap/lotion on face. I also use body wash but nothing on face. I am sure he will be fine..Take care. All the best..

How are you doing?.HOw is your baby doing?.mansa is doing fine and she also had the same problem of rash.but now its gone.I can see some in her shoulders and neck now.I don't put soap on her face.the doctor said that this is normal.then how is your mom doing?.Hopw u are enjoying with them.My MIL left to india when the baby was 4 weeks old.I manage her all alone.I feel very tired and week.had cold and fever for 1 week.Now iam better.planning to goto india and take rest for 3 months in march.Boston is very nice.This is the place i landed in US and so i always like this place.Now we are settled here and hope no more moves.then how is your health?.take care of u and ur baby.catch u later

kals Ritu replied. How are you ? Thanks for asking .... I am fully recovered after pumping in some antibiotics and painkillers . Regarding baby acne my Baby has the same thing on her face . The ped said its due harmonal imbalance which will sort out with time . Its nothing to worry . I am using Jhonsons head to toe for bathing my baby .

Really nice to see your update. Even my Sidharth also got rash. Now it is almost reduced. With your explanation I feel the rash is same type for my baby too. It is red and comes and goes. I see that only on his face. My doc told me the hormone that was given to me (i believe it is progestine..not sure about spelling)to induce labour and increase contractions causes hormonal imbalance in the baby and that gets this rash. I have found this information some where in the internet also. Don't worry.. it should go off soon. I am not using any soap on his face. I use only jhonson lotion as his skin is becoming dry. Other than that i use jhonson products on his body. coming to my baby weight, he was born 9lbs 14 oz. He was weiging 13 lbs when he was 5 weeks old. By boy seems to be very naughty. He gives me hard time some nights. During day time he will be playing and smiling. Do advice how you are managing with your babies at night.As I am back to work, getting very tiered. Other than that pumping and feeiding is going fine.

Girls, hope you and your cuties are doing well. Do write to the group when u get time. I really miss the interactions we use to have when we were pregnant.
