iam too worried about my baby,she is not yet started talking properly.talk only few words acha(father)amma,vellam(water)hi,bye,tata.she did not listen to me when i started teaching her some words,rhymes ,numbers and body parts.she can understand what we tell.and she identify all the things.but not speak those words.i dont know how i improve my baby.please give me suggestions iam so much worried

hi ashwathy.not to worry my daughter is 21 months old.evn she used to rarely talk sum words.she cld understand all wat v tell only thing is she cld not talk.whn she was 18months i put her to play shcool.she learnt many things such as rhymes,alphabets,numbers....she does not tell clearly but sum words r clear.i too teach her at home i have put charts of alpha,numbers,animals...i suggest u to put ur baby to play school.she will interact with other children and she too willstart talkg.so dont worry about it

Our 28 months old boy is not speaking simple 2 or 3 word sentences yet. He speaks a few words such as mama, papa, aunty etc but definitely not more than 10.
