Hi

I have a 11/2 mth old daughter and suddenly we started observing small pimples like on her face and now all over the body. I am kinda worried I am using johnson baby oil. When I asked the Ped they said its baby acne and it goes away. Has anyone expericened this ?

Can someone help?

stop using johnson's baby oil. it causes those red spots. it happened to my daughter too. since we have many kids in my family all same age and all got these problem bcoz of johnson oil. now none of them have it. u can use coconut oil and cuticura powder.

Hi,
Even my daughter had the same when she was a month old. my ped said that its a baby achne and advised us to apply eucerin but it did not help. when we took her to a pediatric dermatologist he said that it is a case of eczema. so dont delay it please take ur baby to a doc.

Hi,

My son had these too when he was 2months old. There is nothing to worry. Please dont use any oil or cream on face. Just wash with soap and plain water. It will go away in 2-3 weeks time. And u might be surprised that it will not leave any mark on the soft skin of the baby.

So don't worry...enjoy ur new born and have fun
