Hi Parnjal,

There are times when we feel the milk supply is less..when it actually is ok as after a while our breats don't feel as full..The best way to check is to see the number of wet nappies u have and also weight gain per week.. On days when u feel your milk is not enough the best thing to do would be to feed every 2 hours (if u feel number of wet nappies has gone down). Also don't worry too much about 1 or 2 less milk days as long as weight gain is fine. Other importnat thing to increase the supply is rest. Try and sleep during the day and your milk supply will go up. Try and avoid the formula..Good luck..

Hi Pranjal,
Fry garlic in little bit of ghee and have it with rice. Thats will increase the milk supply.Like VIndhya said drink lot of fluid and try to drink something 15 minutes b4 feeding which will help.

hope this helps

Hi Pranjal,

Sorry, I don't know of any home-made remedies. But, would suggest drinking lot of fluids. Also, try pumping.

Good luck,
Vindhya

Hey Pranjal, Boiling fenugreek & cumin seeds in water and drinking it does help increase one's milk supply from what i've read....

Also, we get fenugreek capsules at GNC, taking those will help too... and since fenugreek is a herb, we can be certain that we will not have any adverse effects from it...

Others might have better suggestions...

Good luck

Hi Pranjal,

Breast milk is produced on a demand and supply basis, so if you pump/nurse more, your supply tends to increase. It also lets you know if your supply is really less, otherwise it's hard to tell. May be you are right on track.

Good luck,
Vindhya

Hey Pranjal, the more u empty your breasts the more milk they will produce... so pumping in between feedings will surely help increase your supply

Diaper Service Provider,Bangalore
Hi,
Does anyone know if there is a Diaper Service Provider in Bangalore? They generally provide cloth diapers and replace them with a new set every 2-3 days.

Thanks in advance
