Hello Archie,

I wrote to you earlier but probably You didn't find time to go through it.....I have some serious concern about my periods...I got my last period on 30th sep...My period cycle is around 38-42 days i.e.late and irregular...I went to GYN on 21st nov...She prescribed me\";Medroxyprogesterone\"; for 10 days and told me that I would get my periods within a week once I finish my course of medicine...Today is the fifth day since I finished the the medicine and I haven't got my periods...this is making me crazy...Please suggest what should I do...

dear Rashmi,
sorry for not responding earlier although I may not have looked at post.

your cycles are not only irregular but are longer and almost off the normal cycle length. You might first want to work on that once you get menses.

You are being treated to induce menses and it may happen on or around 7th day. Should that fail give a call to your Dr. or take a homepregnancy test.

If you want to have baby then you would need to study ovulation of yours and is must because of erratic cycles.

Don't drive crazy because you are not getting menses, remember your stress affect hormonal balance.
