This month only, i started to send my kid at Mrs. Nandita Guha' s creche, near by my place at Glengate in Powai. I did not enquire about the creche and had no other option known, simply started sending my kid there just due to my desperation to pursue my job. Yesterday, when i fetched him from there, I found his face, totally bruised and hurt with fresh signs of blood oozing from scratches. I enquired Mrs Guha, how it happened she very offensively told, he might have come that way from school. I asked,\" Were you aware of this and why did not you or your maids inform me immediately?\" She said,\" No,I am not aware, being sixty three year old diabetic patient, can' t keep track of each child here. I have kept three maids for them. You can question them, don' t bother me...!!!\"
Seeing this offensiveness on her part, we decided not to send our kid there. I phoned her today and informed that i enquired at school and they were very much sure that they sent safe and sound from there, else they would have reported us, interrupting me, she told with hostility, it' s ok with me, if we would not want to send him there and hung up. After a few minutes, she called me back and rebukely said,\" At first place, i shall not take your kid here and this makes me the first person to say this, not you,\" and hung up.
How childish and totally irresponsible behaviour from a lady of such age!!! shicku replied. This is really shocking behavior. I think you must take the matter further and definitely conduct a full enquiry, question all the maids, staff members, involve other parents whose kids go there. You may stop sending your child there byut you will be doing a great service to the other children who go there. I dread to think of hoqw they might be being abused everyday. Horrifying!
