hi anitha. i agree to what sudha says. try checking with other things around that laya may be not going good with. its better to trust our baby survival instinct. and talk to your dr about it. they have some tests done for all allergies.nishu is allergic to nuts. when i used to bf, and whenever i had nuts. just after 1 hour of bf, his whole body will go red & as if fluffy. dr took his blood and did some test and we came to know that he is allergic to nuts.last week he happen to enter kitchen and was playing with salted nuts box, some spilled on his legs & in an hour he turned red.i am really concerned about this.
so take care.

Hi Anitha,

I am giving my son cow milk exactly from the time I joine dback office and he was just 2.5month old. He had taken it well. He did develop some rashes later on (around 4month) which I never come to know why as we suspected oil (another brand of Olive oil we used for sometime). We have checked with Doctor and as per him nothing was serious in those rashes and asked us to take it easy.

I will suggest if you can get it checked with Doctor if Laya is really alergic to cow milk or any other things and accordingly act. Otherwise should not be bother about rashes, they will go off. Let be our child brave enough and develop resistance to this kind of outside factors as anyway we will not be able to protect them for long (this is applicable more for us who are in India, considering outside atmosphere, surroundings etc. which is not as clean as outside)

Regards,
Sudha

my cousin has the same,,. check with your dr if laya is ready for soymilk or some other milk supplements. cz the formula that we are using right now is upto 12 months ! then they have diff formulas or substitutes..
atleast she will get some extra soy nutrients,if dr says so.. also keep trying once a while with cows milk as well.my cousin, she is now okay with curd, kadhi and all curd stuffs not milk though.she is now 2 year.

love
Hetal

Breast pumps
I am using a medela pump to feed my baby when I am out. The medela breast pumps are really a good choice for the working moms. We can pump the milk regularly and can store it and use whenever needed.... - dalewhither [View Message]
evenflo elan breast pump
Buy this pump! It’s made my life so much easier. I always got sore with my old Medela Advanced, but that never happens with the Ameda Purely Yours Breast Pump. What really makes a difference is its ease of use. It’s really easy to switch between pumping phases and take apart to clean. Strongly recommend it for all mothers that pump daily.... - stellatylor [View Message]

try this
As we discussed earlier in this forum I used magnetic alphabets , through which he has learnt alphabets within a week. And number within 4 days.
It is as like take the letter and stick to it where ever he goes more and ask him to search a particular letter. this worked very well for me.
all the best... - Manju [View Message]
