Dear Archie and friends,
I and my husband are students and are studying SAP in Germany.I have to attend classes where I have to sit for long hours-we do get breaks in between where I walk and eat. Here I have to walk too much but I feel comfortable ,but sometimes I have footaches.I have a problem of severe pain in lower right pelvic region--the pain is there for 15 mins or so -but I do have it daily--please tell me if I will be facing any problems during my labor or will I be going through premature labor. This is my first successful pregnancy so far-I had a missed miscariage before. Please help.

Thanks,
Fatima

Dear Archie,
Thanks again for you prompt reply..I went to the doctor here and she examined me-she checked the baby's heart beat for half hour and said its normal. The scan however showed the baby in a different position--it showed the baby in a sitting position ie the baby's legs will come out first during the delivery. The doctor said if the baby does not change the position then I would have to go for c-section.I am really worried now. Also she took a smear to check for the chlamidiya infection. Please help me regarding the foetal position-does lamaz work? Waiting eagerly for your reply.

Thanking you,
Fatima

Fatima,
you should add gestational age along with message to help better focus into.

i think you have been facing round ligaments and are normal, check with your OB.

foot pain is from long hours seating and poor blood ciculation and is sort of fluid retension will fade after resting, lifting foot while seating, or walking. I think this is something going to aggrevate in future, don't want to sound bad though.

Susten is not a very prefered but has been offered to many patients who are suspected to have less progesterone and stopped sometime at the end of first trimester or in the beginning of second trimester, goes case by case.

trust in EDD from ultrasound which considers growth than your lmp.

I don't see trisomy be a concern still check with your Dr. on cut off line for your age, I believe it would be around 1:100.

for pain you should bring this to attention of your Ob and have it checked, I can't do that online, besides imagining it could be round ligaments or braxton hicks, I consider earlier to be the case:-)

Dear Archie,
Thanks for your reply-was eagerly waiting for it.Actually I had a missed misscarriage before and was diagonsed with pcod later-happy i conceived--my periods where irregular
and i still dont know how to calculate correctly my last period was in the last week of march--according to the tiffa scan done on 30th of aug-it showed 21 weeks 1 day,now it is the 25th week-and also the report says SEDD:08.01.2007.And Archie before that there was an NT scan done which showed the adjusted risk of trisomy 21 as 1:6025-is it ok? my age is 26.Also I was given susten for the first 4 months.About the pelvic region pain it is getting worse. Please help me.Your advice is most appreciated.

Thanking you,
