There are pros and cons to both - having a nanny or sending your child to a day-care. Personally I never liked the idea of a baby sitter ( person without any prior child care experience ) as I feel my baby is precious enough to take any such risks. I have found such people unprofessional which I immediately knew would not work for me as I wanted someone who would react to my comments/suggestion/questions in a professional way and who has a prior child-care experience specially someone certified with infant CPR and a clean criminal backgound check.
I would have preffered a nanny for Arjun but after seeing his interest to play with other kids and a desire to go out I went for child-care. The only regret I have is that he is getting sick frequently.

Good Child-care in the area I live has long waiting lists - 9 months to an year and half so you may want to check locally if you are interested in that option. Hetal replied. hi arti,thankx. yesday nirja stayed for somee 30 mins alone. she didnt even look at me.. looks like she liked it there :)) also i found some lady who has 3 daughters, they gone to india, so she has nothing to do and she also said that she wants only baby girl :) prob i will give her a try too.
but i liked the idea she liked with other kids :)
