I dunno where to start but yes first of all thank u so much for ur wishes and ur prayers.Its ur prayers that today my baby is with me right now.

ABOUT LABOR

Well i was in hospital on 29Th Oct as i started having some pain,so reached hospital at 2.00pm with just 3cm dilation,so the hospital ppl made me walk and i was there doing a marathon,so by evening i was just 4cm with no pain at all.But i ran from the hospital on 30th Oct as the Dr wanted to induce me and i didn't wanted as 30th Oct was my due date,So came back home 30th morning and had good food and went for a nice walk in the evening,and the outcome of the walk was that my water broke on 31st Oct morning at 06:15am,reached hospital at 08:30 after having nice breakfast(energy for pushing the baby,but i was gain 4cm dilated and no pain at all,so they gave me pitocin,also i refused to take epidural.
Now by evening arund 5:00pm severe pain started and by 6:00pm i was 8cm dilated but since then till 8:15pm there was no further progress and the Dr realised that baby is big so they decided to do a c-section,finally my bundle of joy arrived at 8:42pm.

ABOUT VARUN

Varun was 8.7lbs and his height was 21inch.On 31st at night they brought him to me and he fed from me but on 1st Nov morning he started having some prblm and the Dr realised that he has to be taken to special care nursery as his respiratory rste was above 60 and it shud be belwo 60,so he was there till 06th Nov and we both came back arund 7:30pm on 06th Nov.Though i was dischaged on 04th Nov but i got a courtesy room next to the nursery as i was pumping mil from him and storing so that his first feed shud be mine.On 08th he had his first pediatrician appmnt so everything is fine now,he is doing good and right now sleeping in my lap while i ma typing.

ABOUT my current status

Since 08th(sat) i am having some bleeding from my incision area,so yesterday again had to go to hospital in emergency leaving Varun with his grand parents,was there for 3hrs and they gave me antibiotics,and just now also coming from my OBGYN,so from tomorrow a nurse will be coming home to do my dressing,ooffhh pain nd pain but since right now Varun is with me so i don't feel tht much.

Uma!glad to know all is fine&li'l Varun is back with you.He looks really wonderful&chubby.Ouch!you're incision is infected that can hurt.Pls eat plenty of fruits&juices.Have some healthy soups too to hasten healing.Hope u r able to breast feed baby well,try the football hold until your'e tummy can bear the lil guy's wt.
Take good rest&do only your jobs until the next 10days!You will be fine then&life will be just full of smiles,smelling&feeling baby skin etc etc Avi(from Nov board) replied. Hi Uma, it was great to hear that Varun is doing good....and so are you..

Varun is a wonderful name and he sure must bring a whole lot of joy to your life...and his presence will surely make your recovery much easier...
