Dear Niki,
Actually, I have heard copper T is a fairly reliable method and is safe if it is inserted by a qualified gynae.
It can be removed after 3 years or earlier if you want to conceive after 2 yrs.
I too wanted a 2nd kid after 2 years, but my dh was reluctant. It took me 2 yrs. to convince him. He still feels that one would have been o.k. I am sure when he sees the baby, he will forget all his doubts!
bye for now.

Hi! all,
Actually, to be honest, in the initial 4-5 months after delivery,
you have so little time and absolutely no interest in anything other than
going off to sleep and night time feeds etc. My dh had asked the doc about f.planning etc.
and the doctor had suggested putting a copper t after 3 months after delivery.
But, somehow, we never got around to it.
We started making love only after 6 months or so and that too very carefully,
i.e. only in the safe periods ( from 5th day of periods to 9th day).
It does cause some friction, because males sometimes dont understand why we are so reluctant to have s.
But, later on after a year or so, you are quite able to have active s.
But, do be careful. You dont want to end up being pregnant again so soon.
The difference between my elder son and this one is about 4yrs. 9 months.
We practised safe sex and crossed our fingers.
You have to discuss this with your dh and then take a decision.
bye. All the best to all of you.
Anupama

Hey Anupama, i was thinking the same thing "safe sex" But the dr told me u never know how safe it would be. I was thinking of Copper T too & reading all info on it but it sounds scary to me. Just wondering what will happen. Any ways i dont htink i wud wait 4 years for another baby as i atleast want 2 of them..... After 30 is a big risk so in next 2 years i may plan the next one. In this case copperT is not that meaningful isnt it.....??

Niki,

Thanks for posting. I was talking to my husband regarding this.. but do not know what exactly we should do and how to plan.

I think Vidhya, Anupama could give the ans for this question.
How is ur health now? I did the ultrasound today and the baby weighs 5 pounds 8 aunces. It is actually under weight as per california starndard.
Then I had NST whcih went through fine.
My doctor says now I will not have to go for early delivery because of the baby weight.
Water contents are more and hence my stomach looks big, yes Niki, you had told me this earlier.
Now I am at home and relaxing. My mother will be here next week. I am just waiting for her.
Chalo fir, take care.
Priya

Stem cell banking on with life cell
yes Life cell is the best, when ourbabygirl was due in Feb 2011 we shortlisted Lifecell after meeting Cyrobanks, Relicord, Babycord etc. Cyrobanks are thugs they promise you the moon and also there is no indian hand in this company so we can' t rely on them at all. Relicord is good but the offers have so much marketing gimmicks. Other players lacks either the technical inf... - CK [View Message]

Good Gynae in Dwarka
Hi

I am new to dwarka and want to know if there is any good doctor having her clinic here (I expect them to be visiting some good hospotal).

I know some good doctors in gurgaon like Dr Chetna Jain (Columbia Asia), Dr Manvita (Max).

but can anybody suggest someone in dwarka as gurgaon would be far for emergency situations.
