please don't laugh at my question. this may sound silly but i am a pure vegetarian but for past 6 months i am giving boiled egg to my son everyday. my friend told me to boil egg in medium-high for 40 minutes. i have been doing that for the past 6 months. now some collegues are saying that i am over-boiling the egg and all the eggs my son ate past 6 months had no nutrition at all. is it true?? i am little confused about how to boil an egg to retain all the nutrition?? YUCK replied. Pure vegetarian DO NOT EAT EGGS!! Gross console replied. Dont worry about this.now a days eggs are considered to be vegitarian.when i was in collage always we had debate about this.eggs doesnt require long time to cook.put eggs in cold water and when the water comes to a boil then swith off and cover the vessel with a plate for 15 -20 min,so the eggs comes perfectly cooked without turning blue yoks..take care. hi replied. to retan all nutriton, first put the eggin cold water and bring upto boilo. when it starts oiling well, reduce the heat to medium and cook the egg for 20 minutes. you'll get great tasting boled egg.
don't worry overboiling will not destroy all the nutriotions. but you do like i said and u'll get waht ur kid wants
