Hi Everyone

I've been married for a year and now I'm 4 mths pregnant with my first child. I live in Australia with my husband. My delivery date is in Jan 07 and as we all know we need support of family during that time of our lives. I wanted to call my parents here but due to some reason they couldnt make it so my inlaws are coming over. I'm not sure what i'm up against coz i use to live in Aust before my marriage and soon after our marriage in India we came back home to Sydney. I didnt get to interact much with my inlaws. However whatever i could know of them in those 2 weeks was that they are a bit greedy and my MIL is always restraining from talking to me too muchon the phone coz she thinks i might ask her something to get for me. i just dont know how its going to be with them around the house. Has anyone had this experience in this or can anyone help in advising me how to behave and expect from them when they come.

BUYING NEW STUFF FOR THE HOUSE, JUST TO
PREPARE FOR YOUR IN-LAWS ARRIVAL. YOU
HAVE TO SAVE MONEY FOR YOUR BABY.

I FIND THAT JUST BY MAKING SURE THAT
THE HOUSE IS CLEAN AND SMELLING FRESH
AND LOTS OF FOODS IN THE REFRIGERATOR
WAS ALREADY GOOD ENOUGH FOR THEM.

U can deal with her easily but u have chances to get comments on ur spending ways from greedy inlaws. dont entertain any comments on ur expences...,when she come here after few days,Be friendly with her and just in other talks tell her indirectly and with smiling face ur friends have some mils always try to say some or other thing on their money spending ways....and which ur friedns dont like 'bout them. his way u can give hints that u r not gonna like that things..

Also, they r afraid for expences if u might ask any gifts for u.Avoid asking them. If u have any other friend or relative ,just send them money and get the things u wanted and just ask ur mil to get those things ur friend bought for u. If u dont need anything, it's cool.

so, be careful not to involve muhc in money matters, Dont try to criticse them for their greediness with ur hubby.he might start finding faults with u.
