Hi!
I have a 5 month baby girl who wants to sleep with me. She refuses to sleep with anyone else at home. Even if I put her to sleep and leave and when she wakes up and doesn;t see me she cries non-stop till I come. Any suggestions will help!

Hi Sunita,
Thanks for your reply. My daughter does sleep in her own cot. I have to pat, sing and dance with her to sleep and then put her down..she too can take very long some times. However when ever she gets up she needs me to put her back to sleep. My helper tries but she seems to cry till I come :(
Where do u live? I'm from HK.

Subject:  fussy sleeper

Hi Krishi,
My 8 mth old baby was also like that earlier. She only wanted me when she wants to sleep. On top of that she takes such a long time to fall asleep...it was so tiring for me!
Anyway, I decided the best way to stop things from getting worse was to put her to sleep in her own cot. The cot is placed right next to my bed so she knows that mummy is right there when she wakes up at night. At least now she is much used to falling asleep without me holding her tight! However, she still takes a long time to fall asleep. I can only hope that she will outgrow that fussiness.
Maybe u can try putting your baby in her own cot too.

Sleep Problem due to itchy skin
My baby girl is unable to sleep properly due to skin rashes. I have resumed oil massages to help calm her down and facilitate better sleep, using CITTA Baby Massage Oil. Additionally, I am applying the ointment recommended by her doctor for the rashes. Could you please provide me with more ideas that can promote better sleep for her?... - Sanchari Tarafdar [View Message]

RE:How to Develop a Sleep Routine for your Newborn
According to me this is good but then you cannot force your child to sleep as per your wish as kids as really bad in this and they have a tendency to sleep in day and get up in late night so according to me this is not the key to success, please post if i am wrong.... - Anita [View Message]
