Waiting to try:working out?

Is it okay to workout while trying to get pregnant? I workout everyday for 45 minutes (I use the elliptical machine.) I guess that is equivalent to about 5 miles daily! Do you think that my working out may be putting a delay in our ttc process? I hear different opinions from different people. Please advise me on this???

Hi,

As far as i know you can work out while u r trying to conceive till u actually conceive.Once u miss ur periods & confirm that u r indeed preg or u start getting preg symptoms u shud avoid heavy exercise esp stuff that would put a strain on ur abdominals& ur pelvic muscles.U have to be esp careful in the first trimester.So till u actually conceive no harm in exercising-of course dont overdo it.Too much of anything is bad.Try to avoid aerobics & heavy weight training
