I took clomid as I was not ovulating and also my period was irregular. I started taking it on sep 9th. Ovulated around 21-22nd. Had my last periods on 5th of sep. When is the right time to take home pregnancy test? Is that right on oct 5th? Am kinda of anxious and scared too!!! I'm getting a slight abdomen pain (a little like period carmp). Is that normal if I conceive? Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

try with clearblue. if you are able to control your temptation try on oct 5. but i understand how difficult it is. i got a positive result some days before my period was due. but again please do not worry if it is negative. i am sure you will get success in the future. i don't mean to be negative, just dont want you to be terribly disappointed.

The cramps is quite normal if you have indeed conceived. If you cannot wait any longer, go ahead and take the test. Don't be disappointed if you see a negative. Check again in a week. Of course if you have not got your periods by then, you know! I read an article recently which rated the CVS pharmacy brand pregnancy test to detect pregnancy at the lowest concentration of hormones. So you can try that if you are in the US.

Thanks for the reply ABC. I bought clearblue pregnancy test kit recently. Thought of trying with that? Do you think it shows the results early? Yep. I'm in the US. Thanks again for your concern.
