Padma thanks so much for referring Dr.Sharmila, I took nihu to her last week, She explained to me proper diet plan , Nihu is 4kgs underweight , so asked me to concentrate on the foods Im giving, also nihu's cold and cough is gone, touch wood, she prescribed Zyrcold which was really useful, how I wish I had gone to her early, I must have shown nihu to atleast 4-5 doctors no luck, anway She has asked me to get nihu again after 2 weeks for checkup.

Am so happy that you liked Dr. Sharmila. She's really patient with us and takes a lot of time checking the baby and asking questions.

Zyrcold is what she gave Kichu also. It's ugghh to taste but i guess it works!!

About Nihu's diet, Dr. Asthana is quite practical and allows us to use anything we want. Try giving her upma/Pongal with ghee or Idli with some butter/sugar. Keep trying to locate what she loves and then bingo!! You'll have her back on the normal weight chart.

her low weight must be also due to the cold and cough she had and all the useless antibiotics those docs gave. She must've pulled down at least 0.5kg 'coz of this..
