Vegetarian Food:Preserving Food

Name: Jyoti

Hello everyone,

I needed some tips on preserving food once its cooked. I live in the US and also work. So, it gets really hectic for me to cook everyday. I spend too much time cooking everyday and dont have time to do other things. I need tips on.

1. Preserving ginger garlic pastes
2. Gravys
3. Rotis
4. And any other quick tips.

I dont have any Indian stores around me, so dont have the option of getting frozen rotis and stuff.

Thanks.

Preserving ginger garlic pastes - Put them in glass bottles(clean and dried in sun) and put them in fridge
Gravys - you can freeze them if you want for long time, otherwise put cling film on top or put in tuppelware boxes
Rotis - put ghee, cool them then put in zip locks and then in freezer. At dinner time put little water and 10-12 secs in microwave
