Hi friends,
I joined my 2.5 year old girl in a good and famous chain of schools.But I heard they teach only oral ABCs , 123s, shapes and colors.
I teached her all of them and she is good in identifying most of them.I felt if I join her school thye teach writing abcs ,123s.
But My friend told, If u want them all ,u better join her local school. because these ppl believe in not to stress little ones. I understand their concept is correct.But ,when child has capacity to learn more, y shd we avoid her frm learning.
Shd I join in this so called Internatinal schol? or in a local school?
To join in local school, I feel they dont give much security to my little baby (nowadays my city became very insecured for little ones and hearing kidnapping cases.)


Pl help me deciding something. my hubby already paid fee for this famous school but I can manage if I myself decide to one.

radhika replied. I am an educator myself. It is very early for a child to start formal learning. In Europe (esp. scandinavia) children start schooling at the age of 6. This is after a lot of research.
Its OK to let the child learn if she is vrey keen. Do it with offering stimulations such as games, puzzles etc in stead of trying to teach the child. My daughter is 4 and can read and right all the alphabets and speaks 3 languages but i never taught her anything. She learnt by asking me questions.

Your child seems to be very bright. Just motivate her. Don' t push her into formal teaching unless she wants it herself. deeps replied. Now we joined her in Eurokids but classes start frm june. So still I have time to decide...Pl suggest me.
