Hi, I am only breastfeeding my 3 mth old daughter but i m feeling it doesnt fill her stomach since i find myslf feeding her right thru the evening til 10-11 in the night. i have to feed her for 1-1 1/2 hr for each feed which is normally after 3-4 hrs in the night and morning but then she demands milk after every 15 - 30 mins in evenings. i dnt mind sitting and feeding her for long hours but am just curious if this is normal.

thanks for ur replies.. i think my daughter is facing early teething probs, she seems to bite her hand too often and is salivating a lot. nibbling on a teether/gum soother gives her satisfaction. i hav begun to give her small quantities of dal water and tried top feed but she didnt take the bottle.

no this isn't normal behavior.
either u have to start giving her solid early or she's just teething too early.

If you are sure the baby,s stomach isnt full after a feed .
After consulting your doctor begin giving her rice dal cereals and vegetable soups in low propotion i hope your baby needs to start on solid foods .
remembver not to bootlefeed

According to my gyno, I have some special hormones due to which i can easily lactate and due to that my motherly instincts are extremely high. I was lactating until 1 yr back & I still can induce if i want to breastfeed anyone.
