Hi everyone......since my sons birth i hardly find time to sit at the net. Hope all the kids and moms are doing fine.
I am going to new york next month when he will be a few days shy of 7 months. And tips on flying? its gonna be a 5 to 6 hrs ordeal with a stopover. Flying with my husband.
Also going to india in september...any tips?? how is the bassinet? i am feeding him formula and pump BM as he stopped taking BM a month bak as he liked the bottle flow. I am planning to take a handpump with me as i wanna feed him BM till he's a yr old. Somethings better than nothing. So tips will be appreciated as far as my india trip is concerned

Iam vidya from dec board but had baby Boy Anish on 14th Nov so,,,
About ur India trip:
I went to India when Anish was 2 1/2 month old.
I went in Luftansa flight from Houston to And from Frankfurt to Bangalore.
Ya there they give Bassinet which was very good i was only BF and my son never used to be directly on Breast so i always used to pump and give him.I dint had any problem.
Try to take more bottles and lots of washclothes.
While take off and landing i used to give him Pacifier to avoid the ear problem.
I took Diapers for 3 months .
Some handy toys.
Rest u will get to adjust according to that.
No worry have a happy shopping and safe trip ok.
Give my love to ur son .

Hi Vidya....
Thanks for ur reply. My son will be 8.5 mths old. And the airline said that they wont gimme a bassinet as he's big for the bassinet. But all my friends had been given a bassinet by different airlines when their kids were9,10 mths old. I am flying united and Lufthansa combo. They said baby has to be 6 mth old. I understand if they give a bassinet to a younger baby than mibe. But there are a couple bassinets on plane and just to feed him,let him play a while .....i need it.
ANyway.lets c what ahppens....i have to go and i am going no matter what :-)

These days, formulas are packed with everything the baby needs, and although it is never as good as breast milk, it' s perfectly fine.
